Google Docs Gets A Huge Upgrade On Its Format
Google Docs is upgraded with a feature that can select and change multiple sections or block of text at once. This feature’s ability cut down a lot of busywork to properly format a document. The process is extremely simple as you can select the first bit of text however you would normally, then press either the Command or Control key, depending on whether you are using a Mac or Windows machine.
After all the selection you can change whatever formatting bits you want using the toolbar. Using this feature, although a small thing, when you have a lot of text to format will be easier than using the format painter tool that lets you highlight one bit of text and copy its formatting to another.

Twitter Is Paying $150 Million For Using Users’ Phone Numbers For Targeted Ads
Twitter is bound to pay $150 million and has agreed upon to settle a privacy lawsuit with the department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Trade Commission (FTC) for fallaciously using about 140 million users’ phone numbers and email addresses for targetted advertising. It is not Twitter’s first alleged violation of such misleading conduct as the incident goes back to 2010 when the FTC filed its complaint against Twitter. In that case, Twitter advised users that they could control who had access to their tweets and that their private messages could be viewed only by recipients.
Although the FTC did not agree saying that Twitter did not have reasonable safeguards to ensure users’ choices were honoured. The new order has prohibited Twitter from using the phone numbers and email addresses it illegally collected to serve ads.
The US agency states“Twitter must notify users about its improper use of phone numbers and email addresses, tell them about the FTC law enforcement action, and explain how they can turn off personalised ads and review their multi-factor authentication settings,”.
Broadcom Is Buying Cloud Computing Service Company VMware for $61 Billion
Owing to world’s biggest tech aquisitions of all time, Brooadcom is acquiring VMware for $61 Billions in cash-and -stock deal. Broadcom is a company that deals with chip business, designing and manufacturing semiconductors for modems, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth chips across multiple devices. The deal is to boost Broadcom’s software business and the combination of the two could be very powerful that focuses on infrastructure and cloud computing.
The Dell owned company Broadcom plans to rebrand its Broadcom Software Group to VMware andincorporate its existing infrastructure and security software offerings as part of VMware. CEO of VMware, Raghu Raghuram said, “Combining our assets and talented team with Broadcom’s existing enterprise software portfolio, all housed under the VMware brand, creates a remarkable enterprise software player,”.

Google Drive Is Now Getting Copy/Paste Shortcuts
Google made a feature for Control / Command + C, X, and V to copy and move files around like you would in pretty much any other file manager. The feature is said to be available to everyone by 4th June. Its basic keyboard shortcuts for opening a folder as a new tap is Ctrl / Cmd + Enter.
You can copy a file and paste it into Google Doc or email and the feature will insert the file’s title and a link to it. Furthermore, you can also paste shortcuts to files if you don’t want duplicate versions all over your cloud storage system. The command for that will be Ctrl / Cmd + Shift + V.
Scientist Cultivate Cells On A Robot Skeleton But The Purpose Is Still Unclear
Researchers in the science of tissue engineering grow cells on a moving robot skeleton that can be a new method of tissue engineering to improve the quality of work. Although such cells that are used in regenerative medicine are grown in static environment, a few experimment in the past proofed that cells can be grown on moving structures like hinges, but these have only stretched or bent the tissue in a single direction.
The engineers at Devanthro, Oxford University, adapted an open-source robot skeleton and created a custom growing environment for the cells that can be fitted into the skeleton to bend and flex as required. They mainly choose the the robot’s shoulder joint attached with a bioreactor for this tissue agriculture, which is required to upgrade to more accurately resemble human movements.
Google Releases Android 13 Beta 2.1 Patch For Pixel Devices With More Improvements
Google releases Android 13 Beta 2.1 Patch, a new Android 13 beta update. Also it should be fixing some of the issues plaguing Pixel devices shortly after the initial release of the Android 13 Public Beta. According to Google’s release notes, the latest Android update will introduce several fixes and improvements mixing with the previous May 11 Android 13 Beta 2.
Update, fixed an issue where typing in the search bar resulted in a blank list of suggestions. The latest updates fixed an issue where devices would crash and restart when turning on hotspot.

Snapchat Introduces New Feature For Shared Stories
Snapchat brings in a new and interesting ‘Shared Stories’ feature where users can now build community around the content users love to Snap. The social media company expresses that a new iteration of Custom Stories, a product that previously allowed Snapchatters to create a Story and add friends to view and contribute.
The company further added in a blogpost, “Now, with our new and improved Shared Stories, Snapchatters who have been added to the group can add their friends as well, making it easier for the whole soccer team, camp squad, or group of new coworkers to get in on the fun,”.
Twitter Circle May Open Upp For More Users
Twitter Circle feature is likely to open to more users after it has been started testing Circle earlier this month with a limited group. Twitter’s spokesperson Joseph Nunez said that the company is currently testing Twitter Circle with a group of people across Androidd, iOS and Web globally.
The feature is yet to roll out widely to everyone as they continue to gather feedback. Once the feature rolls out, you can check whether you have access to Twitter Circle by updating Twitter App or head to Twitter in a web browser. You can see a dropdown menu at the top that reads everyone to select your preference when you start tweeting and can limit your tweet to a select audience. That said you can also add or remove anyone from your circle. Whether they follow you or not, you can add upto 150 users to your circle.
Europe’s Space Agency Is Taking Action To Remove Orbital Trash In the Space
The European Space Agency invests in an Orbital Trash Removal Service and is teaming up with Astroscale. It will remove the dead satellites from orbit and other orbital debris to thin the massive cloud of space orbiting Earth. The service will pave the way for OneWeb, a communications company, to continue building its telecommunication network.
The space has over 27000 pieces and is over a ton of debris which threatens the satellites that provide us with weather forecasts, music and connection to each other.
